I am super tired today as I has had a visit from an old friend, it was so nice to catch up with a cuppa. So I am going to make this quick, I just wanted to pop by and show you something I have done from my bucket list.
I have been lucky enough to be able to treat myself to a couple of boxes from Crafty Creatives recently, it is such a lovely little business where they send you a box out each month of craft goodies. Each box is very well thought out and has theme with a little kit to have a go at something and lots of other goodies to play with as well. I have only been able to get it for a couple of months but I definitely recommend them it is nice to get something so lovely in the post
I have so many nice new little crafty bits to play with now, beads, fabric, card, papers and what I have received over the past few months will keep me going for a long time. I have one more month left before I really had to stop and I am looking forward to it.
In the last box I recived, which was a woodland themed, I was very excited to find a little needle felting kit with some instructions on how to needle felt a leaf. Needle felting is on my list so I was very eager to have a go. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It didn’t take me as long as I thought it would and it was very satisfying to do, almost felt like I was sculpting the felt. Wonderful
They also sent a lot of roving as well plenty to make lots of things out of.
Here is my leaf:
I am super pleased with it
Now I am going off for a rest. Do tell me though, are there are any crafts you would like to try or have your tried anything new recently?

Oh I have a list! Needle felting is on mine too, along with crochet, learning to use a sewing machine and making jewellery. For now, I am trying to improve my knitting skills, choosing patterns deliberately to learn new things. I am having lots of fun with it. Love your leaf! That would make a nice brooch.
I love it! Needle felting is something I’ve always wanted to try too! The craft creative boxes have always appealed..might give them a go!
Wow – your leaf is really impressive. Well done
That looks fantastic! I’ve yet to try my needle felting kit but you have reminded me with this lovely post
I wrote a post on my blog a while ago about my needle felting adventures. My next craft to try is paper cutting! I keep picking crafts that are easy to injure yourself with!
